Me making adoptables might seem unusual but honestly, I've been following the dA adoptables community for a long time, checking on people's pages daily, biweekly, weekly or monthly to see their new adopts! I've always wanted a species of my own because it's been a while since I've done character designs, and stumbled upon one I and other people seem to like, so here's some info about them!

Weighted Blanket Creatures The Basics:
- big plushie friends made to soothe and protect
- forelegs are weighted with pellets so they can give a nice tight squeeze!
- often look like animals, occasionally like other things
- they're protective of their owners but get along just fine with any other of your adoptable species!
- come in all kinds of colors, patterns and fabric textures!
- I often abbreviate them as "wbc" in file names

No rarity guide??? Whuzat?
As much as I'm a fan of seeing closed species sheets with rarity guides, because I love the complexity, they're often really confusing to me and I wanted to try making a species without all the confusion of what is a "rare" or "mythical" trait. There will be a mix of simple designs, more complex designs and very detailed designs to suit different aesthetics, but they'll all be the same price.

If there's no rarity guide, are their individual traits?
Yeah! Here's some things you can expect to see on a WBC, or request in a custom:
Shell: solid color, patterned, patchwork, embroidered, sequined, sparkly
Lining: plain, satin, lace, fringed, shag, tasseled
Head lining: ears, twist ears, bows, ties, belled, ornament, inlay
Body: solid color, natural pattern, decorative pattern, horned/antlered, multi limb, decorative tail

If weighted blankets are used for people with anxiety or autism, does that mean only those people are allowed to own a Weighted Blanket Creature?
Anyone can have a Weighted Blanket Creature! As a person who uses a weighted blanket (you can see a picture of it in this document) I don't believe in keeping this species to just a certain kind of person. However if you are one of those people who owns a weighted blanket, I would be willing to give you a discount on a custom

What's your policy on reselling/trading?
Once you own the design, you can resell it or trade it for another design. Out of fairness to me, the creator, you cannot resell the design for more money than you bought it. This is a pretty standard rule in the adoptables community. I won't be policing this, but out of good faith I expect people to honor the wishes of the original creator and by buying an adoptable from me, I would consider you in a social contract to abide by this one rule.

A person commissioned me to draw their WBC, do I need to credit you if they own the design?
Please do! I would love to be credited, so more people can hear about the adoptables. ALSO, whenever I see an adopt species I like in someone's gallery, if I can't find a link on that deviation back to the species creator, I tend to give up looking for it elsewhere. So in generally I think this is a good practice to do!

How often will you be releasing new adoptables?
I'm on winter break right now (12/18/15) and have just started a hiatus on my webcomic. It won't be daily (unless the demand is so great), but while on hiatus I will try to get a few done every other week as long as there is interest.
