A kind viewer suggested that the lens flare on the original spoiled the picture - so here is a version with no lens flare.

Love 'em both. I prefer this one without the lens flare although I do like the yellower tones on the other one.
How long does it take to craft a scene like this in Vue? And how much post work did you do in PS or whatever?

Little hard to say how long it takes as I tend to tinker with my pictures in Vue over a couple of days.
Once in Photoshop it's just a case of roughing up one or two rather artificially straight edges that Vue sometimes creates, then developing a little more contrast and depth to the colour.
Of course I added the bird.
