This is a picture I took of Devils Tower (the missing apostrophe is a mistake on some legal form made back in the day) in Wyoming. This is a pretty famous piece of rock. If you've ever seen Close Encounters Of The Third Kind then you'll recognise this straight away. It's quite strange to see it sticking up. It really is huge too, although it's difficult to tell how big from a picture.Related content

I find this a really freaky photo.. There's all these trees and then a giant rock back up there.
