Description Super-Simplified, of course, combining humor with a bit of learning.

Cut from full comic- explaining that enzymes usually only work with one chemical, by having the fairies try to squish Mokou and Kaguya together. Cut because they would have never even gotten that far- they'd have been incinerated.

I love this "Biology lessons with Touhou" thing you have here. It's hilarious AND educational.
Have you ever considered working in Educational programming?
I think a lot of kids would enjoy learning from something like this a lot more than from words in a textbook.

Ah, you forgot to mention the most important part, although I guess you'd have to go into the more complex, incomprehensible stuff for this, but... the shape of the enzyme is extremely important and complimentary to their substrates, and that is ultimately determined by the DNA/mRNA sequence that codes for it...

...yeah, maybe keeping it simple's for the best...

Yeah- I don't always know how much i can explain before people start nodding off, so i tend to err to the side of overly simple. I usually use my sister as a sounding board for this kind of stuff, but she's not here right now.

Well, given that to go into shape, you have to then go into active sites, the primary structure, various types of chemical bonds, and the initial DNA and mRNA codons... I think it was probably for the best.
