Description
This is my entry for #ee-motes 's contest; Family-motes . The prompt given is "Let's see what "family" means to you in emote form!", which I answer with a heartened "COMPLICATED."Related content

Interesting portrayal of family. The little details are amazing.

So I get a chance to look at this closer and I'm wondering, are the chainsaws symbols for divorce or being "cut off" from everyone else? Also, two orange on the outer middle right, are they holding guitars or rifles!?! I hate to ask because I'm afraid of the answer, but is the branch at the top dead/dying? Don't want to pry if any of these are actually personal stories, I just wondered about the details.

The chainsaws are divorce, yes. The two orange ones would be my stepbrothers, who are very musically inclined (and don't own guns are far as I know). The top branch at the top was meant to represent my sister's miscarriage two years ago.

I want to know what going on in the middle where the blue emoticons being patted on the back branches of to two other emoticons. Did he clone himself or something? And why are the two separate family trees made to look like they are one?

It's one family tree. This is, specifically, my family tree.

Oh i see now, the red in the middle is connected to the blue.
To me, it just looked like the red had some bally thing hovering above it's head at first.
...i still want to know how that blue emoticon got children alone.

Which blue emoticon, by the way? Are you reading it the right way around?

i read it from the bottom which starts with the skin-colored and the purple. These branch to a red just above. It looks like the red got kids alone. it then branches off to a blue just left of him. That one too looks like it got kids alone.
I know it wasn't that way, i just thought it was funny.

The red did have a child "alone", but the blue and red had children together.

The "ball-y thing" is a chainsaw. Silly. No one got children alone (though some are pictured alone, simply because I have no knowledge of their partners).

This emote is far too big to fit on three icons, let alone one.

What would you use it for, anyways? It's not exactly chat-friendly.
