It's called a caricature... duh. Whoops - accidentally got it printed with a typo... silly me. You'd think the editor I send it to would have noticed. Or does he/she (still not sure) just not read them?

Probably not. I don't think the editor of a school paper actually does anything besides making sure that you're not advertising where to go buy some weed.

Well, not really. But when you're an editor for a campus paper that thousands of people could read, there's a potential there to make some kinda impact or something.

Yeah... not really. I mean what does the editor actually get to write for the paper? Nothin'. All he gets to really do is decide which "Letters to the Editor" to print.

There's more than one editor, though. And they get to decide what pieces get into the paper, where everything goes, and there's a part in the paper where the editors all get to write a short blurb.

In all seriousness, though, I've thought the same of myself, that I'd never be good enough to go professional. Then again, my talent is probably in digital art, not traditional art. Plus, we can't all be professionals.
