I was born in BC, and just hearing where you took the picture and seeing it makes me want to go back there again. Very good job! You have a great eye for finding excellent pictures.

Positively stunning, the composition is perfect! I do have to nitpick, if possible I might have used a long exposure to smooth out the water. However that probably wasn't possible.

Your other shot of this is fabulous, but the color in this one adds so much to that peaceful feeling!

oh wow, I would have loved it even without the bird, just the serenity of the water and netral colors are amazing.

What a lovely image.
I love those birds, there are so many of them around here, they're beautiful.

Beautiful composition - id only clone out a little piece of shadow/dark water beneath the shadow so it doesnt look like the shadow is so close to being cut out of the frame. I love the streaks through the water and the shadowy nature of the bird - serene

Probably one of the most incredible shots I've seen as far as composition, color, and feel... but I must say that the small amount of grain hurts it a bit. Still worth a favorite! Keep up the great work!

thank you for the tip, I just ran it through a noise filter... can you see the difference?

Looks better, but try using a smoothing process in photoshop... since this is a silhouette(sp), you don't need it to be sharp. I hope that I've helped!
