Description
Princess Celestia Puppet Rig TestThis is just the side profile of the puppet with standard features (blinking, smiling face, on all four hooves, etc.). From here I can add more eye motions and mouth motions as well as additional limbs for specific movements such as when the leg is bent and when she's sitting.
There are two more standard positions for most puppets and that is 3/4ths and Front Facing. But that'll be for later.
This puppet will be used for an upcoming flash animation (don't worry I'm still working on the This Day Aria - Mine Ride flash).
Programs used:
Adobe Photoshop CS5 (vectors)
Adobe Illustrator CS5 (convert vectors for Flash)
Adobe Flash Professional CS5.5 (animation)

Nice job! The blinking is very well done. So just wondering, but did you completely retrace/recreate the MLP resource kit's model, or just modify it? I'm building my own Celestia puppet right now, so it's kind of cool seeing what other people have done

I took apart the model, analyzed it, and then created the basic angles out of those parts (front, side, 3/4, back, and so on).

There's more to the model now than at the time of this upload.

Aahh, very clever. I would love to see some of the different angles if you ever get a chance to post them. I'm re-drawing every piece that I'm using for my model. It's a pain, but I kind of wanted to build everything myself, and it's good practice. Anyways, I'll be watching for any more updates and hopefully animations soon
