Hey is you guys' workspace set up in your apartment / living quarters? Or is it an entirely separate rented location?
(I ask because I've always had my studio space intermingled with my living apartment, usually at the expense of the living room XD I like it when people go to this level of initiative for their creative passion.)

Yup, it's in our house. It's the master bedroom converted into a workspace...also pulled out the closet to turn it into a bookshelf walk-in closet. Two of our friends rent a space, but we've always wanted to work from our own space. In the past it was just a ghetto apartment room lol. Anyway, sorry for the late reply!

A very fresh space. Must be refreshing to have a well designed space like that

We've worked in some terrible conditions before, so our personal space / studio set-up is meant to be very peaceful and clean

Haha, it's not like this everywhere in Canada . Thanks very much. Inspiration? It keeps changing every year depending on what we see, read, or what we're hired out to do I guess. It's just become a way of life to keep creating

We need a peaceful space after working in a...not-so peaceful place in the past.

Samsung SyncMaster TA950. It's a bit pricey for what it is, but yea, it looks nice. I pondered over the purchase for a few months.

Ha! Thats hallarious! Artists can make a buttload if you do it right

Not sure if I'd call it a buttload, but thanks. Working at a studio for a few years helps (something we're not doing atm). The only downside is that you'll be doing a lot of random monotonous grunt work. It kind of killed us for a while, so we're trying to freelance this year...

Man,how can you guys AFFORD this stuff just being artists?

StudioQube In reply to The-Under-Network [2012-10-30 18:46:17 +0000 UTC]
Thanks, but it's nothing out-of-this-world. We've had the Macs for some time now. Being a flexible artist and working at a studio helped.

It's just difficult for low income people like to see well successful people's homes. I'm not talking about rich bigwig homes,I'm talking about graduates and people working with big companies. It's almost like a non-existent fantasy of some sort.
