you create such relatable scenes and atmospheres in all your works! the soft/warm color scheme adds to the feeling of nostalgia

I did not ask permission before publishing, apologies.
She turns some pages of her book and sighs deeply. He does not dare turn his head.
After their fight, she put a headset on. He tried to act like he was reading some electronic magazine.
Any move she makes with her feet, her hands or her head, when she beats the rhythm of the music she listens to, unsettles him.
He looks out of the corner of his eye but says nothing. And he acts as if nothing had happenedβ¦
She moves and, for the third time, extends her left leg on the armrest. He senses that she can't find a comfortable position. He figures she pretends, too. He smirks and lets out a soft, amused sigh.
And he feels that she is observing him too, now. He tries again to appear absorbed by his electronic tablet.
But he can't take his mind off the fact he must look a total jerk because he suspects she knows that he does not have the Internet access from her apartmentβ¦
He would like to get up, to do something. Yell (no, don't yell). Maybe make another cup of tea, then? Or play a disc (no, don't play a disc, she's listening to musicβ¦).
So he doesn't move. He remains motionless. Frozen.
The light is beautiful, though.

True, it's just that we both look like that and have the couch and the table and the clothes. It's weird. If this were a print, I'd buy it.

You depicted the golden glow and the warm shades of a sunny afternoon (well, I think it's an afternoon ) incredibly well. Capturing this atmosphere is definitely not an easy task! Great work.
May I ask you which software did you use?

I really like the warmth you seem to portray in all your pictures, gives it an almost tangible feel... Kind of like, I dunno, caramel toffee bread pudding.

Hi! This looks really great! I was wondering what software do you use? If it's Photoshop, what kind of brush do you use to achieve soft colors? I just LOVE your style. It is really awesome. Keep it up!

Thanks! Yup, PS. It's a pretty standard round brush...it just takes time and practice. I tend to paint in pastel colours, so that helps achieve that soft look that you've described.

It's not a well known one. It's a lyric of a song I love dearly.
Sometimes my obscure commenting gets the best of me!

(though really for how simple this scene is it's a kickass picture.)
