First off, for a first attempt at Spike (at least I believe it is if I recall a poll you did?) I'd say you did pretty well! I really like his rather concerned-looking expression, as well. The first nitpick I might have with the way you've made him here would be with his tail. It looks like we should see some of where it attaches to his abdomen since it's more of an extension of his lower body rather than a pony's tail which is an extension of the spine only. So it looks a tad pinched. The second thing I notice that seems a bit off are his hands, they seem a teeny bit noodly. Hands are notoriously difficult, though, so not a big issue overall.
As far as the entire scene itself it's relatively well balanced with our subject there very much drawing the eye. The planet in the background there could use a tad more definition, though, since it's rough edges don't seem to fit the rest of the image. The hazy airbrushing is a nice touch in the image and I like all the different sizes and opacities in the stars. The stars themselves, however, are a bit too regular in shape. A sparkle-type brush I'm guessing? I recall seeing the same bits in your recent piece with Rarity, too. While it's not really a detractor it would be nice to have a bit more variety of shape if you're going to have the light rays on them like that as it can end up looking a bit cut/paste-y.

Yeah it's a star stamp brush
There should actually be a brush setting that randomizes the stroke and what have you, so the stars don't end up looking too uniform. I think size is still a manual touch, but I can look more into the settings next time to see about making it look less cut/paste-y :3
As far as different shapesΒ of stars go, that will take some more looking into. I'll see what I can find for next time I do a starry shot.

Could always try to freehand in a few--some may just be little more than motes of light while others could have varying amounts of light rays emanating from them. I dunno how doing fine tapering lines works in Procreate but I'm sure there's a way to do it :3 I know with my own 'rub sausage on screen' style of drawing I've puttered around with on my Nexus it's rather difficult but you've got quite a bit more power on your setup I believe :3
