We as people are the only ones that hold the key to our personal freedom, we must never let it go.

I'm trying out a new art style here
it's pretty different to what I usually do!The pose was taken from a postcard I got from a friend as a makeshift Easter card ... I really liked it so I thought I would draw it
Unfortunatly My scanner bleached out all the soft blue in the back ground
I hope it still looks ok though <3 xx

I like how your portrayal of freedom are shaped like birds. It reminds me of that poem by Maya Angelou, about the caged bird if you've ever read that one.

They're very common, but powerful, symbols. A yellow butterfly ha becomes a symbol of freedom and escaping, due to a very strongly written poem by a child who suffered in concentration camps. Birds, well, wings = freedom! It's definitely a strong visual metaphor to explore.

Yes, indeed1 It still looks VERY good! I reminds me of the slightly characuture style of the illustrator of the "St Trinians" books! also of the work of Searle. The beautifully anarchic and detailed, but simplisic linear meanderings! Brilliant work! Cheers!
