The F/A-38 Phantom III is a single-seat, single-engine, supersonic, all-weather, carrier-capable, 5th Generation Fighter. The Phantom III complements the F/A-48 Wraith as a smaller and cheaper fighter aircraft that can be fielded quickly and cheaply in large number, despite being cheap, the Phantom III is an excellent fighter aircraft, it features the 'Sentinel Series' Advanced Flight Program and Alert System, its radar is also capable of detecting other 5th and 5.5th generation stealth fighters at long range, it is armed with a single Mk44 30mm cannon, four internal hardpoints, six external hardpoints, and a pair of wingtip pylon.
