Description Finished!!! Halleluja!!!
After doing all these names, I'm sorry, but do even the seas is too much for me...

Features of my world:
- Modern technology/futuristic (knowledge in the field of biotechnology and genetic), but still medieval mentality;
- Populated by twenty (and maybe more) humanoid races (link Races of Edenheime (v1.0)  );
- Architecture inspired from European(North) and Arab(South) (between the Middle Ages and today) for Revrovia;
- Religion is divided into monotheists, polytheists, rationalists, pagans and heretics (on work) [on work link];
- This little magic, mages are seen as freaks of nature and dangerous;
- States with strong nationalist spirit;
- Includes transportation and modern communications (railways, highways, telephone networks, internet...);
- International Politics divided between the Union and the Federation (a nation that has a city under their control is automatically deployed);

continuing with 's idea

How to adopt a nation:
- Decide which (look at the bottom to see the nations already taken);
- Decide on a flag or a coat of arms (that does not already exist);
- Define the type of government, national mentality, provinces (if any), population, religion... In short, everything that can characterize a nation;
- Comply with the above characteristics;
- Serious ideas (thank you);
- You can take more than one country (but then that's your business );

About the Federation and the Union:

The Federation is an agreement between the Odussia and other nations: the nations participating will have to limit their arsenal depending on the territory, the excess is sold to Odussia that will provide adequate military protection and the construction of military facilities.
On the economic level, the nation will sell 20% - 40% of the resources produced to Odussia in exchange it will cover all the expenses of the construction of railways, power lines, pipelines and administrative buildings.
Once signed documents to join the Federation, you can not go back. This act transformed the joined nation into a semi-vassal nation.
Federation army: 6 mln troops, 700.000 vehicles, 23.000 ships, 13.000 airships.
The Union is something like the UN, where each nation maintains its independence and its own currency, but must give all its troops and all his military buildings to UPAR, but the military and economic protection will be guaranteed. This means that the Union has the most powerful military in the world.
Economic protection means that if the nation is in financial difficulties can ask for a loan to the Union and it will return with interest, in agreed between the parties.
Every nation has the freedom to come and go whenever it wants, but it will return and/or pay for weapons and structures that the Union has built up in the area.
Union army: 12 mln troops, 1,1 mln vehicles, 15.000 ships, 28.000 airships.

Cosa "agisco"? Quando addotti una nazione, devi formarla tu! Io al massimo metto in disegno la tua idea...

Zena? HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Nonono, Genova = Menova (la vedi lì vicino), Zena = Siena.

Comunque mi aspetto una forma di governo, provincie, una religione, mentalità e molto altro

Beh, sai qual'è il nome in dialetto di Genova? Zenoa...

Sturm94 In reply to alexandersolkey [2014-05-15 14:21:49 +0000 UTC]

1-(partendo dall'ultima) Poco, pochino.
2-(la prima) Tu, vero -talvolta chiedendo consigli a me .

Looks like your map follows a certain projection, does it? If so is there any tutorial describing how to get a similar result?

Sturm94 In reply to Altzihin [2014-05-06 17:52:51 +0000 UTC]

Certain projection... You mean the style or the form? Or the names? Because I didn't understand the question...

Altzihin In reply to Sturm94 [2014-05-06 18:05:36 +0000 UTC]

I mean the way the globe is projected onto the flat surface of a map, like the Mercator projection for example! When I saw the islands getting gradually flattened towards the pole I thought there might be some kind of projection you used, but wasn't sure since I'm not knowledgeable on the subject myself haha, I guess it was all handmade?

Sturm94 In reply to Altzihin [2014-05-06 18:42:17 +0000 UTC]

Ah, now I get it!
Yes, I try to make a map like Mercator projection (because is easier to draw and to manage), but principally because the "cheat" I used make maps like these.

The base map, no, but the nations border, colors, names, etc. are made by me.

You can see there: If you are lazy (like me) to make a map...

Thanks for the link, you might have given me a beginning of an idea, I'll see if I can develop on that!
Again thank you so much for answering! Have a good day and good luck with your next projects!

Ok, how about a list of the aligned nations Or how to recognise it?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Sturm94 In reply to SoaringAven [2014-04-18 15:35:42 +0000 UTC]

The lecture key above the map show the icon of aligned nations. If a nation have under Union control, it means the nations is aligned with the Union and the same for the Federation.

(I explain in the 8th point of "Features")

On a thought: If we were to adopt other countries would they be seperate or combined? Also, love the map layout.

I didn't understand the question, so answer the two interpretations that I realized
-Well, I prefer you send me the information about it separately (it's easier for me to handle).
-You can take two nations and create between them a friendship/hate or whatever you like, the attitude of biggest nations will evolve accordingly.
