Well, well. This was one of my few joyful things during my exam-period. Which is over btw.
I had kind of a reference for this: [link]
But as you can see, it's only the idea. I had to come up with the anatomy (did a lot of shots of my hands and legs and feet) and such all by myself and it was a pain in the ass. <.< Had a hard time to make it look right and I'm still not 100% satisfied. I mean - he looks gorgeous, but her pose is slightly... argh. xD But with her hair covering the neck I guess it's alright.
The splashing water was added with two white pens btw and it isn't looking very realistic, but well... i like it.
So, enjoy looking and expect more, I'm not done with these two sweeties yet. *hrhrhr*

The pose is a bit awkward especially because they aren't on the same level, but the rest is well done esp the white water spray.

Yeah, yeah, the ref photo was great for the idea but it didn't help me further... >.< But the couple on the photo sits in the same way... so I guess its possible.

So cute! I love the effect of the water splashing around them. I can't really see the awkwardness in her position you're talking about. I guess the hair does a good job of covering it up for the people who didn't know it was there to begin with. She just looks like the sudden rush of (probably) cold water surprised her.

That was the plan... xD Drawing her kind of surprised I mean. He is the bending one.
This stupid pose was just really difficult for me... They are not on the same level because she knees upright and he is crouching more relaxed (how do you call this properly? I have no clue O.o...). And my bf wasn't around when I started drawing so I had nobody to figure out other possibilities for the pose of those two. v.v
