Well, well.This was actually my very first try to draw these two sweeties a little bit older. Before I did this I draw them once how you see them in the series.
And I started only with Aang and then thought, wait, you could perhaps squeeze Katara in there, too. Hmmm...
I imagined them flying on Apaa to... who knows where. xD
Will be the last sketch for now, I plan do some bigger things! <.< We will see how long this will take, aye?
