Legend has it, that when the air gets cold and the leaves begin to fall, a giant beast awakes in Loonia. This beast is said to be as big as a house, with skin as rough as wood, and eyes like glass. During the rest of the year it sleeps, disguised as a spooky abandoned house, but when the weather is right it comes out to eat lost loonlings. For years the citizens of Loonia would hide away from it. They would gather supplies and lock their doors for weeks at a time, since no one really knew where the monster was or when it would come out.
One fateful night, a young loonling named Halloon decided we wasn't afraid of the monster, and went outside to explore. All he had was a bag of sweets to eat when he got hungry. Suddenly, the ground began to shake and he heard a horrible roar. The monster picked up poor Halloon and opened its mouth, ready to gobble him up
