Random love for chrono cross tends to happen to me pretty much out of nowhere. I've also continued to have no luck finding a RP partner for it. Been searching for years, lol.
It's still my favorite game, ever. Dario-Karsh-Glenn-Riddel storyline still makes me cry a little inside ;_;
.........I don't like Kid. Gimme Serge/Leena anyday- the original romance! :S

I actually felt that same way about Kid, Leena and Serge! How weird!
I'm replaying Chrono Cross right now though, and I'm liking Kid a little more. I still don't find myself really liking her like I do other characters, but... whatever.

dude i had the SAME reaction lately! first i was all hates all things kid, and now i have the same exact feelings toward her as you described - liking her a little more but not as much as the others. (keeping her entirely out of your party for the first part of the game ends up being funny; she follows you hardcore).

I saved Kid this time around--I almost always chose not to save her, so it was pretty strange. (I felt bad about killing those dwarves and the hydra in the original world...) Saving her made it seem like the game just zipped by, though.
I've got a question for you, by the way--who's your avatar of? I totally thought it was Jimba/Wyatt Lightfellow from Suikoden 3, but I didn't see any Suikoden fanart in your gallery, so I'm guessing it's probably not...?

i used to save kid all the time because i am a nice person. XD but then when i found out you actually can get Glenn (who i was so wanting to get after seeing him around!!) i was like SCREW THIS BITCH, I WANT GLENN

I really love the watercolour look of this piece. I think it compliments the feeling of the scene perfectly. ^_^ It's a beautiful piece of art!
Also loved the depth they got for the "Dario-Karsh-Glenn-Riddel" line. It really helped to bring the characters to life. Definitely one of thebest games I've ever played. ^_^

Personally I like Kid better all around since she was a bit more useful, but my preferences of character doesn't blind my judgement! This is a very nice idea and original piece, and I love your style. >w<

Yeah, I kinda like him with Schala--but the ending is so ambiguous that it makes no sense. And I really can't seem him with Kid because she's so... self-involved? Yeah.

Chrono Cross, nice! I liked Kid for what she was, but not as a partner for Serge. Its been so long since I've played the game, but I do remember liking Dario, Karsh, Glenn, and Riddel. I'll have to borrow this game and play through it again.

XD I played it that way too. And then a few years later I saw it on sale in blockbuster and was all SDGSDFSGDSFSDF because i'd only gotten up to Kid falling sick in Guldove in the first playthrough and i reaaaaaally missed /wanted to finish that game. XD
