Description Yeah, I'm a big fan of Rumiko Takahashi, and more especially of Ranma, so I HAD to do a fanart... But as I'm a perfectionnist, it took me a while, and I'ms still not happy with the result... Ah well, at least, I had fun.

I've no idea what Ranma is but I know you'll forgive me.)) The pic's good, the only part that doesn't look right to me is the girl's right leg.

DDD=

Is there anybody out there who knows what "Ranma 1/2" is? But, yeah, I forgive you... This time. -___=

To shorten a bit (... No, to shorten a lot... XD ) Ranma is a boy who, when splashed with cold water, turns into a girl, and comes back to normal with hot water. It's the 3rd "big" serie of Rumiko Takahashi, and probably the most well-known. There's a bit of everything in this serie: martial art and battles, love stories (beetween Ranma and Akane), tons of humors, great characters...

I can only tell you this: read them/ watch the anime, you'll find a really good serie.

It is, trust me. One of the greatest success of the 80s-90s with Dragon Ball, and that's not without reason... ^^

Hey, you're talking to a fan. I only saw one or two episodes many years ago, and never forget them, I saw the whole anime/read all the manga only a few months ago. See how perturbing this serie is...

Told ya!

Well, as you seem to watch the serie, just know for your information that it ends at approximatively 3/4 of the paper manga. When it's finished, it's not over!

It's the situation with most anime series I've watched. XD When I'm done with the anime I'll check the manga.))) Is it unfinished too?

StyxTheMad In reply to CatherineNorbant [2009-07-01 19:05:48 +0000 UTC]

Nope, it's finished (Unfortunately... )

As it's a quite old manga (80s!), it would have been a record! XD

There are 38 volumes. ^^ (Well, in France/Belgium, I don't know for Russia... )

Thanks! ^^

And yeah, one of the most you'll ever see... I only saw one or two when I was little, and remembered them all along. (And now I'm here, rediscovering all the success of Takahashi, this must be what "pleasure" is...)

Et tu fais (TRES)Β² bien.

En plus je viens de finir Lamu, reste Maison Ikkoku et Inu Yasha et j'aurai lu les 4 grandes oeuvres de Takahashi.

.........Mais Ranma restera ma favorite. \o/

You like Ranma 1/2 as well? That series was great. I haven't seen the whole thing but I enjoyed what little I had seen.

It was one of the first of many stories that made me wonder what it would be like to suddenly have your gender changed. I just can't help but wonder how much of one's worldview and experience can differ by changing something as simple as one's sex.

Also, the martial arts performed were fun and wacky.

Good times.

That's the word: you MUST. XD

Really, that's one of the best serie you'll ever find. But I have to tell you, the anime stops at approximatively 3/4 of the manga. Just for you to know that when it's finished, it's not over yet.

Not "in case"... Not in case.

After all, Takahashi is one of the richest mangaka/comic autor of the world, with only 4 "big" titles. And there's a reason to this.
