1. WHAT IS LOLITA?

The Lolita (as a concept, we include here all the sub-styles that you please) is not a trendy/fashion.

A trendy is "Use mode, or custom is in vogue for some time / Follow that style / effect now or lose / etc" according to the Royal Spanish Academy of Language.

The Lolita to me is not a fashion, but we call like this cause nowadays we tend to generalize the terms and people use words that do not know what they mean.

While in Japan, its country of origin, is called "Lolita Fashion" (and fashion is fashion) I think they don't think about "fashion" as a trendy. Japanese people consider the concept of "fashion" like "style".

But I think Lolita is more than that even, is a movement, a way of being innate, lifestyle, call it whatever you want, but not trendy. At least I will not call it so.
