Description
Hahaha yaaay, Disney princesses! After watching The Little Mermaid the other day, and waaanting to watch Beauty and the Beast (seeing as I would like...so love to be Belle and adore Ariel) I also decided Aurora is preeetty, and I like her. But I don't own Sleeping Beauty, so I just drew her, quickly, and without reference...and colored it quickly, and without reference. Therefore the colors/outfit may be off, sooo I apologize; that's also why it's so simple, because I just wanted to go for old fashioned hand done art (without the background, ooobviously, hehe)...or somethingHas anyone noticed how SMALL disney women's waists are? It's crazy.

aw! good job! i think it's because of it's simplicity that i like it so much very nicely done, especially since you had no reference.

Super! I want to draw Briar Rose (or Aurora, whichever ) soon, but I suck so I'll probably need a reference.

Aurora is probably the prettiest of the Disney princesses, I think, so I'm really glad you think that came across well thanks so much!

Most likely - plus, just calling a place "China" when everywhere else is Twilight Town and Hollow Bastion and all that jazz would be...strange hahaha, I'm not at all either - especially since my computer has been taken away to be fixed, so I have to use an oooooooooold laptop without photoshop or anything for a while -_- tomorrow! lucky, today is my first day back from spring break >.<

Pretty nice I must say for going without a reference.
One thing cool about that movie though was that the ideas for the backgrounds and what not came from looking at unicorn tapestries. (soory, i'm a disney geek...*surrrenders*)I could probably name the years when half of the films were released....
ANyhooz! Youv'e done an awesome job here. Especially with the delicate poses of her hands. I would be willing to bet though, that Aurora has the smallest waiste in the entire history of princesses... tis insane!
yeesh that was long... XD

I loooove Disney - I WISH I was a Disney geek Well, old Disney anyway. I always did really love the backgrounds in that movie! I guess that's why...I have a reproduction of one of those french unicorn/lion/maiden tapestries in my room, they're super cool

*sigh* Disney, Disney.. *__* I miss the good old days, before they took advantage of Miyazaki, and started churning out really bad films. ;o;! At least we have the old ones and a couple good new ones. Let's just forget that farm thing ever existed, whatever that was. XD Yay Aurora! You did such a nice job, despite her waist being insaaanely small. She's very pretty! ^^! I think her legs might be a little thin, but I envy your haaands! Ack! <3 Their waists have always scared me. Aiyah.. >>()

I agree, I miss them too T_T Speaking of Miyazaki - have you seen Howl's Moving Castle yet, or read the book? Both very good ^ ^ Hahaha oh god...the farm thing >.< Ah, her legs are a little thin...I'm thinking of cropping the picture anyway and they're waists ARE scary, it's weeeeird
hehe, but thanks so much!

Read the book, yet to see the movie. ^^ I love the book, though, and I'm so glad Miyazaki is the one doing a version of it rather than some crazy person. I'm going to Japan for a couple days, so hopefully I can nab a copy of some sort because the dubbed version comes out the 20th of November, and I simply can't wait that long. XD Yeah, I'm one of those scary fans. >>;
I don't know *what* the farm thing was meant to be. It was beyond me. @_@
S'okay, don't worry about the legs. 'Tis fine either way, just figured I'd let you know. Disney's behind the anorexia craze; that must be it!! XD You're always welcome~ ^^

The movie's actually pretty different from the book (mostly it's just the characters that are similar) but it's still really great Just don't go into it expecting to see the book animated, 'cause it isn't at all, hehe - but Miyazaki DID make Howl pretty hot
When are you going to China? I'm going on this group thing from July 21st to August 11th ^^

I just saw it today, and... Wagga. *__* <3 I'm still in shock. ;o; Howl is GORGEOUS! Although he's much more romantic in the movie than in the book, I still loved him in the book. ^-^;;; 'Twas different. But I think I'm beginning to accept the fact that books and their movies are just different pieces at this point. Either way, I love Howl. Love love looove. ^_______^ <333
Aww, foo... I'm going to China this coming Wednesday, and get back early June. >< Too bad we won't be about in the same time -- someday, tho'! ^^ I want to be there for the 2008 Olympics.

Hahaha, I know, the movie made him gorgeous AND lovey dovey - and much less of a flirt-with-every-pretty-girl sorta fellow; but I'm beginning to accept that books and movies are different things too But I too love book Howl AND movie Howl, hehe. Ah well - someday! Being there for the Olympics would be reaaallly cool
