Ooookay. So I never get holiday pictures done on time EVER. But I took a break from finishing the inks of my jam/men-in-uniform pictures to do this. At least it's just like...2 hours late. And my excuse is my college celebrates it the weekend after, soooo...haha, anyway. I did this totally on the computer, start to finish, which is unusual from me. Had some problems with her hands, and the pose in general....and got too tired, so didn't do such a great job of coloring it buuut...I think she's cute! it's my character Sorcha by the by. Oh and the textures...they're from here [link]Anyway....happy halloween everyone! Oh, and a cookie if you get the title...
it's not very hard.

Haha! How do you do your lineart? All with the brush tool or something? o_O;; (I can't even imagine how long that might take..)

hahaha, noooo....I scan it, and then I use the polygonal lasso tool to delete all the spaces I don't want to be lines, and then lock transparency and color what's left black

Holy crap! XD That's even more intricate than I had expected, haha.. I can't begin to imagine doing that... You must be good at negative space drawings by this point, hehe.

haha, you could always give it a try...and it's slow, but it's good for just spacing out and listening to music while you do it

haha, I'm sure they do...and I'd really be much happier if I were just, some amazing inker and didn't have to fix up my wrong/shaky lines, but, I'm not

Ohhh, we'd all be happy if we had more talent. XD I have horribly shaky hands when it comes to inking, too. It seems more and more, though, that it's hard work rather than talent that gets us further, hehe.
