Hahaha yaaay, Disney princesses! After watching The Little Mermaid the other day, and waaanting to watch Beauty and the Beast (seeing as I would like...so love to be Belle and adore Ariel) I also decided Aurora is preeetty, and I like her. But I don't own Sleeping Beauty, so I just drew her, quickly, and without reference...and colored it quickly, and without reference. Therefore the colors/outfit may be off, sooo I apologize; that's also why it's so simple, because I just wanted to go for old fashioned hand done art (without the background, ooobviously, hehe)...or something
Has anyone noticed how SMALL disney women's waists are? It's crazy.

I saw Mulan and was like, "Kickass, Disney's coming back."
And then I was disappointed.
Mulan II is floating around somewhere. I haven't seen it.
Instead I watch Ming Na (the voice actress) save people's lives on ER. I think that's good enough.

wow it really looks like a disney character.... a lot. You definitely captured the Disney theme. But I never watched sleeping beauty when I was a kid so I dont really know the character, but I think it matches.
You definitely did the colors and lines perfectly for Disney. The face a little less so but I like it more the way you did it than if it were Disney-style probably.
Uuhm all I would say is that while I hate feet as much as you do I think it might be better to actually have the feet on there. I think that doing just a torso-up drawing works and doing a full drawing works, but this might be a little awkwardly in-between.

Hahaha cooool, thanks - I've tried drawing in the Disney style, and it's sort of...hard for me. The faces especiaaaally! It's like I can't help but make it a little more my style or something, oooh well. And oh no! I want feet too, but the paper ran out...and I didn't feel like, drawing them and scanning them, or drawing them on the computer or something...since it was sort of just Disney practice. But if you think it might look better if I just cropped it a little past the beginning of the skirt or something, I could do that.
