Her first day working for Madame Sophie was off to an interesting start. In the middle of dusting the Madame called Cate over to inspect her new uniform:"You have something on your skirt here" said Madame Sophie as she swiped at her bottom.
"Yes, bend over child. I see something on your top right here" said Madame Sophie's mysterious guest.
Cate gasped in shock as the woman pinched her nipple.
"What's that surprised look for? There was simply a small piece of lent that needed removing."
Cate stood uncomfortably between the two women as they continued to pat, pinch, and fuss over her new uniform.
"You must be spotless and always look your best. All of my maids must represent this house professionally and display excellent training at all times. Is that clear?"
"Yes Mistress Sophie, of course."

In Colorado, USA of course! Oh, they aren't "playing". They're simply inspecting her uniform and allowing her a probationary period of time to adjust to the strict rules of the house. See? Everyone is dressed. They're in the "Reading Room" at the moment and not the room reserved for "punishment" or "play". The curtains are definitely closed in there.
