Requested byI'm sorry, I have absolutely no idea if this helps. She asked for a body proportions and poses guide and I was going to draw bases, but I thought this might be more helpful because it's more universal.
What I got from this was Danny Fenton has a rectangular torso while Danny Phantom has a trapezoidal torso that tapers into his waist. His legs are a lot skinnier than his human side, too, probably because of his tight spandex suit.

Huh, those two observations you made are actually things that I had never noticed before -but explain why I always have such a terrible time trying to draw Phantom.
I tend to draw with Danny Fenton's proportions all the time... no matter /who/ I'm drawing... huh.

I'm glad! Yeah, I think his baggy clothes in Fenton form hide the inverted triangle shape he has as Phantom.

Yeah. It's so much easier not to deal with te actual body shape... this'll be good for me to practice so I can finally figure out how to attach those skinny little legs of his to his waist... >.>
