Hey all! I have a new theory on Danny's cutie mark, based on something on Tumblr. (I think...)

His destiny is to be Danny Phantom, so after he fights his first ghost his cutie mark appears (his DP symbol). In his 'normal' form it's black, but due to having a secret identity, Tucker casts a spell on it that allows it to disappear when he's normal. Unfortunately, Tucker's not the best at spells and sometimes it reappears at inopportune times, causing mayhem for Danny when he tries to hide it.

In Phantom form it's white, and he allows it to be seen, to differentiate himself from his normal form. Before becoming DP he's embarrassed by his lack of cutie mark, (like the Cutie Mark Crusaders), and wonders why he hasn't gotten it yet, especially since everyone else got theirs as foals. That's also why Dash bullies him so hard, and why he's known as a loser. And he never thought it would be ghost hunting because he hated what his parents did and never wanted to mess with their ghost stuff, causing his destiny to wait a little while to show up.

So, when I do pony Danny in the future, I'll either have no cutie mark or a black DP symbol instead of a rocket, because I don't think being an astronaut is his destiny anymore. I'll leave my other pics as-is, but the future ones will be changed.
Oh, and this is my first pic of pony!Tuck. I was going to make him green, but it looked weird (and Christmas-y with his hat) so I made him yellow like his shirt. His cutie mark is a PDA, because in the DP!Ponyverse, they have electronics.

EDIT: Changed the font so it's more readable, made it a PNG so there's no white background.
