2/6/17 Updated the colors to reflect her Friendship Games colors. I though only the yellow had been lightened, turns out all the colors were. Whoops!Too late for Sunset Shimmer day! But oh well. I'm extremely proud of this vector - it's my first time attempting shading and I don't think I did too bad.

Thank you! The only problem I have with element of redemption is that it's not typically something found in friendship. Forgiveness and empathy are definitely needed when friends get in fights, but redemption is more of a "I did an almost unforgivable thing and need to work to atone for it" kinda thing, that doesn't usually happen in most friendships. If that makes sense!

It doesnt fit in with friendship, I understand that. I only liked the title of Redemption because it really leaves a deep impact for the person it's associated with, and a sense of a connection with your individuality. Redemption opens a whole new beneficial turn around for someone and opens a gate to new potential, and, if explored quite more, possibly your destiny. Redemption holds a lot more meaning.
Besides, the slots of friendship are already filled. There's already a princess of Friendship herself lol. In short, this new "Redemption" title doesn't have to be associated with friendship, but still holds as much of an impact for anyone else.

I love this concept. I also would love to see "more" Sunset Shimmer in her pony form -- perhaps she comes back to Equestria for a visit, to settle some things she didn't finish when she left. But not like "mending fences" episode.

I prefer her element to be Empathy, but that doesn't make this any less neat.

I like that too! I feel like her element can be a whole combination of forgiveness/empathy/redemption, it's more of a vague concept than the other elements. And thanks!
