The man behind them is unhappy.
Gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous.

Yes, it's the expressions behind the couple that are fantastic. LOL! Love it. That's what I'd be looking like, too!

It's wonderful how people's faces, when in an strange enviroment, reveals our deepest sentiments.
Most people went through a moment like the one the couple's having, but I assure all of us experienced the what guy's feeling at that point. That's what makes it so easy for us to be related with this shot.
I don't know much about photography, but I'm sure you captured a one-in-a-million moment of jealousy.
Congrats for the DD.

Great shot! I really love the expression of the woman in the back corner watching the couple; she looks a bit jealous

That guy in the background is so jealous. The composition is good, I just wish the overall image was a bit sharper.

I like the contrast in this. The couple seems to be so happy, but the guy behind them quite isn't. Nice work!

great shot!
it just might be me, but the guy in the background actually looks a little lonely or something. i mean, he's obviously bothered by it, but it just seems like there's the slightest bit of sadness in his eyes.
i'm probably just reading too much into it lol.
congrats on the DD!

I don't know if this is the best or the worst part of it, but I can relate to this guy (I'm getting the cold shoulder treatment at the moment
)

Beautiful. I love art involving strangers, and strangers on the bus is always really intruiging to me. This is an especially beautiful peice...and I feel for the man behind them.

I love the expressions of the people in the background. A moment of happiness in a mass of misery and boredom.

the picture has everything that is needed and yet not a single character too much. every character has a visible story and you can relate to them through your own experiences β truly a paragon photograph.

not much snow as of yet, maybe next week!
and yeah, the same could be said about any literary piece: an ideal composition is produced when it feels complete with all of the elements in the work and that nothing feels useless. i don't know many literary works, having not read much, but i would suggest The Last Question by Isaac Asimov. it is a short story which not only felt complete, but questioned the very foundation beliefs of a person; and that is what a perfect work of art is. try reading the story, if you haven't already.

heh. i love this--and not just because it's a black&white picture. the two lovebirds are so blissfully unaware, while the guy behind them has a great "give me a friggin' break" expression. nice shot.
