Sublime and ethereal.
That's how I would describe this beautiful artwork!
Every layer and color of this marvelous painting is a joy to behold, and it is magical in its essence.
The ethereal spirit of the lost girl as she wanders this wooded lake. Who is she? Her story is not told, and it leaves the viewer curious to know more. It is as if she's walking in a dream from which she hasn't woken yet (and maybe, she never will). Yet some tangible effect of her supernatural presence is seen in the little ripples as she walks across the shimmering lake, and her soft reflection reveals her passing. Her lustrous hair billows in the gentle breeze. It is as if the lake and the breeze remember her, and welcome her daily dalliance.
The soft purple-velvet hues of the dusk (or is it dawn?) are splashed over the horizon, bedecked with twinkling stars, like a lush carpet for the fading full moon that watches over the scene. A single comet streaks across the sky; it's as fleeting and ethereal as this girl's spirit walking over the lake.
Everything about this scene is wonderfully done; excellent concept, illustrated on a colorful canvas, with some deft touches.
A wisp of a fairy tale that's been captured for posterity.

It reminds me of a fairytale from a girl, catching stars that fall from the sky ... cannot remember the whole story, somehow the stars turn into golden coins in her lab, I think... Wonderful contrast with the white person - very good Idea... also the water and the whole composition is beautiful
