Hi everyone ^^So after many requests, I've finally done a tutorial! This tutorial shows you my way of doing auroras. I've tried to keep it as simple as possible, so I hope that this will help you.Β
Disclaimer: This is only my technique, and I am well aware that there may be better ways to create a similar effect. Also, since this is my very first tutorial there may be mistakes so please kindly point it out to me if it doesn't make sense.

This tutorial is for Photoshop CS5.

A aurora doesn't look like this I used to live near north pole and I saw alot of aurora so I can judge that it doesn't look like one I'm sorry I'm not saying that you are bad it looks beautiful but a aurora doesn't look like that.

Haha trust me it is easy! I think this is the simplest way to create them imo, and you can do whatever you want with the background, don't have to follow mine. ^^Β
