i just started experimenting with corel, and i think i didnt do something right. when i started to color under the black lines, they had white in them....

It depends which Corel Painter you have-- for this tutorial, I used Corel Painter Essentials 2. The brush I used was the artist pastel chalk.

you hafta put it so that the lineart layer is above all the coloring layers
