Description
This is a commission of Skeletor (the wonderful Frank Langella) from the movie 'Master's of the Universe'.This film really takes me back. Used to watch the cartoons as a child. I actually saw this film at the cinema...Yes I am that old
Skeletor is an evil swine, but as we know - evil swines are cool and I thoroughly enjoyed painting him! Thank you .....commissioner

I always thought if they could retroactively impose Frank Langella's theatrical take/appearance on the Lord of Snake Mountain in the cartoons, it would've made them a whole lot better. And yet they would've lost the light, fluffy feel-good tone the producers were going for - this isn't a bad thing. Ah well, a guy can dream. And this is well-done.

Gosh, I adore you for having produced this piece! I love MotU (Masters of the Universe) as a cartoon as well as in the real movie and Frank Langella's Skeletor was so deliciously evil and well played! I love what the costume makers did back then.
A really wonderful painting that makes me squeea out loud! ^__^

Ah...I remember this movie. Luckily I was too young to realize that I should be disappointed. It was He-Man, that's all I needed to know. Really great painting though, looks just like him. ^_^
