Right, this is part two of the three paintings being done for commission. Terminator is next. I'll be bloody glad when it's done!I struggled with this here predator, mostly because it has to have to look right alongside the Alien painting. The blue in the background looks darker than it is in reality and unfortunately something I couldn't quite correct on P.S.
I also had to tone down the highlights on his mask so it didn't stick out like a sore thumb next to the Alien painting. *sighs*
Mucho trouble. I hope I don't have the same problems with Terminator.

What a badass portrait of a Predator 
If there was ever some random alien apocalyptic war going on like AVP...I'd root for the Predators. Those Aliens are kinda like... sadistic sluts (bad comparison) with their lifelong mission of killing EVERYTHING, impregnating EVERYTHING and laying eggs almost EVERYWHERE. Whereas these Predators exude so much alien testosterone doing nothing but hunt, kill and collect trophies; that sounds more like the life

I do like the Predators more than the Xeno's because of the description you gave. Both are fantasically designed creatures though and great fun to paint.

I love how you added the tribal glyph thingies on its helmet. The spikes are a nice touch too, not to mention that when it comes to physical paint I fail. Amazing work *heads off to see the rest*

Ah wolf, captured in his powerful hunter stance. Plus the light glinting in his eyes makes him seem all the more ready for the hunt. Great stuff.

I hadn't seen Requiem until after I painted this. Also I read that the directors named him 'wolf' after the 'Winstone Wolfe' clean-up character in Pulp Fiction. Don't know how accurate that is though.

Cheers! The colours go together although I had to highlight Alien more and lighten up the background to go with the more light reflective Predator.

But those changes give the touch of your hand and it still works just fine ^^. This and the Alien rock, the Terminator is nice but I never really liked the movies.
