Good god, you are like the forth person and counting that has stolen this art piece or directly copied it, if anyone does a google image search for Alien they can find the origianl in like two seconds.

Do you mean repaint the movie poster image, what do you mean directly copied. I did a version of the alien in this pose a vector drawing, is that copying to you?

It is a direct copy, there are a hundred or more exactly like it all from an AVP poster that was truly a great piece of art. This is just knock off number 175 of that picture. Hardly original.

But its not trying to be original, its a painting of a cool movie poster, the poster is not a painting it is an iconic image.

It's something that's carrying on with the other two. The difficulty will be painting Arnies face (half-Arnie, half-cyborg) and making him not look dead or like Mr. Freeze!

i like how you designed this piece, especially the lighting, for a dark creature, you can see a lot of detail in there. that's just perfect!

Thank you. That was one of the problems I was having with this pic. I started the other two (Predator and Terminator) and the highlights for them are more pronounced which made the original painting of this look dull, so I went back to the old Alien armed with a paintbrush loaded with white

Cheers! I loved the design. I couldn't believe something could be so frightening and so beautifully conceived. As I say, have yet to see the Alien vs Predator movies, but after the first two movies, it's difficult to see how it could be bettered.

XD It's very blue! The picture I got this from was great (if blurry) but had most of the alien in it and was perfect for the size of canvas I had to use.

But blue is a cold colour, so it fits the feeling of Alien (okay, greenish shades which were used in the Quandrilogy [my sister has it, I've watched through... in one weekend... then I didn't sleep for a while without having my toes next to my ears. Alien-overload.] could've been even more Alien) but I still this is great, blue also gives that maybe a metallic shade to it. Can't wait to see the Predator <3
