Ahahahaaaa!!!
This is a still of the Joker threatening Rachel in the upcoming movie The Dark Knight. Painted from an image I found somewhere on'tinternet.
I have to say, I wasn't hugely impressed with the casting of Heath Ledger as the Joker in the beginning, but frankly he's grown on me and now I can't wait to see what he does with the character. I reckon he'll do a cracking job.
All rights Warner Bros etc...

Atleast your not the type of person who will only accept Nicholson's portrayal.

Hahahaaaa, oh dear, you're obviously studying waaay too hard. There is a bit of Nicholson about him though (only in this pic) and although I couldn't imagine Heath in the role at the beginning, I do now

Me too! There's some puzzling sites cropping up - newspapers on Gotham and recruitment sites for Gotham police or something like that. They're puzzling and may contain clues to something. I'm immersing myself in the puzzle at the moment
I think Heath will do a blinding job, apparently he's done loads of research on his character.

I agree with you 100% on Katie Holmes being absent. I don't want to be too hard on the girl so I'll say that her performance in Batman Begins was bad, but only in comparison with everyone else's.

When I first heard he was going to be cast I was a bit 'Good Grief. Whyyyyyyy?!!' but I was just being silly. I really do think he's going to make an excellent Joker. Finger's crossed anyway
