Wooo! I've been dabbling with ACEO's for a few days:[link]
So have a gander and if you want to own an original painting by me that you can frisbee across the room or use as a coaster for your mug of coffee, nows your chance
I'll upload a few more later.
I recommend everyone to do ACEO's...So much fun!
Painted on Acrylic card with Acrylic paint and a very, very small brush XD

Seriously.
please stop being awesome.
you keep painting the BEST things ever,
The Joker, (he IS the best)
Iron man, Jack Sparrow..
NOT OPTIMUS PRIME.
Blimey you're too awesome, and you do them SO WELL. I painted this once for some school work, wasn't any where near as good.

Thank you so much. I want to do a bigger version of Optimus, but I think A3 size on Acrylic paper would be best as I can add some pen and coloured pencil detail.

Actually, I just found this excellent site which gives some background on the history and what they're all about:

I tried selling my canvas paintings on eBay, with mixed results. Now it's the ACEO experiment for me. Will they sell, wont they? It's all incredibly exciting! = O
ACEO's stand for Art card, editions and originals. They're like trading cards sized 2.5 x3.5 inches (v. small) that you can sell. Artists can do their own original art on them, or prints and they are a lot of fun to do.

You can do the art on anything! Absolutely anything goes - wood, card, paper, glass. I've got Acrylic card which I cut down to size (2.5 inches by 3.5). I think they're a great idea...you can keep a folder of other artist's original art. They don't cost much and you've got a gallery on your bookshelf. I'm really getting into this idea

Ah, you mean that there is different sorts of ACEO cards?
So you can use then for an astist's book for exemple? Looks very interesting! I must look for it!

Sweeet!! Nice job! I could never draw a machine --or anything really-- as good as you do. Kudos, my friend.

Thanks. I'd like to paint more machines. I'd love to tackle metallic surfaces. It's good practice for blending and highlighting, I think.
