Man, I really need to make a happy HL2 pic >_>So anyway, pulled another all-nighter working on this one! Experimenting a bit with a sepia-like tone. As I was editing it, one of the saddest, yet most fitting to this scene, songs started playing on my playlist: Memory from Cats. It was perfect for the mood, so I put it on repeat, and well, I...I actually almost cried T-T I'm such a dork lol

Awesome picture, dont often get pictures focusing on the characters' soul like this.
I dont thing the song has much to do with HL or the picture though; its more about the nostalgia of growing old and looking raggedy. which I think is the last thing on the minds of the characters considering they are young and have a broken alien controlled homeworld

yes T-T I have a lot of really emotional ideas for HL2 pictures lol I blame Valve, making the ending so traumatic so that's all that's left in my mind xD haha
