It's been in there about 10 months now, and it's still not overgrown the bulb. Slow grower maybe?Edit: it's gone. To those curious; I removed the black glass insulator on the bottom allowing it to be watered and plants put in. Grab a light globe and have a look if you want to see

is it really growing in there? Wow, great idea, how did you make this? if the bulb was bigger you could grow any kinds of plant inside it. I want one too

heh, yeah they're really in there. I opened up the globe at the top...or...bottom....the little black bit. Posted a link on how to open them somewhere in the comments below if you're curious.
My father got me some bigger globes, but they're all really odd shapes lol! It's be good to use a bigger normal shaped one.

hey! i really love it and i was wondering... i am in art school and for the big project of one of my class, end of semester, i would love to make something like that. i just wanted to know if it was ok with you. if possible make some light bulb plant for an environnemental concept.

and also does the size of the plant will matter? got to take a tiny plant or a normal flower will fit in there?

I guess any plant can work, just depends how fast and big it grows lol. Eventually they'd have to get to big.
