Okay so here's the base I used (katanas/wakizashis/whatever)I didn't make it transparent because I drew the flipping lines on the sketch layer so I had to just make the bg white (long story if you don't work with layers)
Anyway to use it you just have to set this layer to multiply and color under or set your brush to multipy

I would use this for Knight's seal form sword but his is a reversed blade sword.

So is Matt's, this base still worked for it because I didn't draw in the wavy part on the blade that shows up on the sharp end
