Description
Following the acquisition of the production rights to the Mark 11 series of weapons by Ferrax Arms in 5824, heavy modifications to the Mark 11B assault rifle were made. Chief among this was the conversion to a bullpup style layout and the redesign of the 10x70mm APFSDS-IE cartridge and round. Compatibility has been maintained with the older round, but field testing has shown a 50% increase in the penetration versus ablative plate and kinetic shielding of the newer round.
Added features are gravitic dampening to deal with the recoil of the heavier round and an integrated gyro-stabilising unit.
