Here be Phoenix, a supporting character from Retribution, an original fiction I'm writing.Just so you know, he really, REALLY likes flames. Could be the fact that he's a mage specialising in destructive spells, or that he's achieved Ascendancy over fire, rivalling the power of the gods but eh. You never know.
Oh, and he's insane. Not raving, I'm gonna eat your pureed eyeballs insane, but more like me on a bad day. But with more fire.

I like the weapon. I can really appreciate the beauty of a double ended chinese spear. Especially when its on fire.
The hair and the cloak are good, the pic as a whole is detailed.
Are you gonna leave as is, or maybe ink an' colour one day?

I would say.... Ink an' colour. Probably with a painting style rather than cel-shading. But that's only when I get a drawing tablet. Which hopefully will be soon.
