I don't think I've ever worked on any fanart picture as long as I did with this one. And I'm also damn proud about this, which is very rare for me. Usually I don't like much of my digital pics, but I think I can like this one
The idea for this one came from listening mushy awesome 80s hit songs. I also don't have nearly enough Decepticon fanart in my gallery, so I took care of that too. I think this is one of the few pics where I don't ridicule Megatron with pink aprons or tutus too
I thought there must have been a time for these four leaders when they were idealistic and had dreams. Especially Megatron must have had some huge visions of the future he would build which is why he's reaching for the heights with his hand. Soundwave looks at Megatron, because he would follow his leader to the end of world if neccessary. Starscream didn't care even back then which is why he's sleeping. Shockwave also looks forward, but with his own ideas that are closely related to those of Megatron's.
I don't think I've ever put so much thought into a pic either. That's quite the amount of "firsts" for this pic

Megatron may not be wearing anything pink but you did make his thighs creamy.
Interesting take on what kind of dreams they all had. I wouldn't have figured out Soundwave if I hadn't read your think, but he looks like he's peering up out of the corning of his optic to me. Then again, I don't think it's quite possible to lay your head flat and look directly at Megatron when you have a machine-gun-like-thing sitting on your shoulder.
I think Megatron is actually the best here, but perhaps its thanks to all your crack drawings of him XD The others are colored pretty good. Also good job on the perspective of him reaching him up. His hand is the only that makes sense to me, but it's really good.

The problem exists with Soundwave I admit and it's because when I drew the pic I kept rotating the canvas all the time. So I was always looking straight to the character I was drawing. So the perspectives came off kinda weird in the end.
Megatron really is the best one there. There's a reason for that and surprisingly enough it's not my crack drawings! You see this pic doesn't have any lines either. Now how many lineless TF pics I've done so far? I've done three if this counts. Now here's the catch: I drew Megatron last and Starscream the first, so I had had practise worth of four TFs.
The lineless aspect is the reason why i'm so proud of this pic. All my troubles with perspective and proportions still exist, but I did it with lineless art and I dare to say that my colouring and shading are quite good.

Yeah, I saw the lack of lines. I'm not to familiar with lineless art, given I suck at coloring, but it is nice. The coloring and shading are most impressive

That was my intention with them. You really got what I was after. I thought they would be all kinda optimistic and be full of dreams and hopes for the future. They after thought there was enough reason to start a war.
