Description
I wanted to do a picture with ton of glowing stuff, so naturally I chose Wheeljack as my victim. Besides I love Wheeljack's character design - It's probably my favourite of them all, because it has several unique elements. He also doesn't have a repaint which makes him actually kind of even more awesome
Btw there's going to be a new Wheeljack toy. Well at least in Japan, but luckily people can get it through Ebay probably and I'm sure Hasbro's gonna release it eventually too.
There's a reference in this pic. Let's see how many people get it, though it's rather obvious
And more experimenting. I've got no idea if even half of that stuff works though.

RiD is Robots in Disguise. It's also the most animeish, but that's not the reason why I like it. I like it because it actually has a consistent plot, the unavoidable human character doesn't get on my nerves and it has my all time favourite Decepticon character in it: Sky-Byte, who is a poetic shark Transformer XDD

Yeah, I've seen a few episodes of it, but I never had time to really get into the series. I've done the same with Aramada and Cybertron. I believe the only series Ive actually seen the whole way through are G1 and TFA (TFP is still in the process sooo..lol) But from your description, I may just have to give it another go

I've seen all of the series, except for Headmasters that is Japanese only series. When I get into stuff I usually get head deep in it

i'm new to Transformers . i haven't seen the first episodes but i've read a bit about them and i know Wheeljack had a different form when he was on Cybertron - a little box-shaped car without wheels .. when he's on Cybertron and transforms into a robot does he still look like the Wheeljack on Earth or does he have a totally different appearance ?

Well he pretty much looks like the same on Cybertron as he looks on Earth. I don't think there are any differences to his design at all besides the vehicle mode.

ahhh . i started with the cartoon movie and i've seen the first dvd of season 3 . i didn't like the live movies at all . next week i'm going to restart at the beginning with season 1 of the first cartoon .

The live action movies are really horrible, so no wonder you didn't like them. The animated movie is okay, but when you watch the first two seasons of G1 you'll notice that they pretty much kill all the original TFs in it(including Optimus Prime). That is the very reason why few people like that movie either.
You should also watch Robots in Disguise, Transformers Armada, Cybertron, Energon and Transformers Animated. There's also whole lotta comics which have about 1000X better plot and story than any of the TV series.
I love robots too. Just came back from Toys R' Us and brought home a tiny ravage toy as an addition to my collection.

yeah , the first Transformers thing i watched was the first live movie . the plot / acting was bad and i didn't like the robots at all . looks like a lot of junk flying around in the air to me . .. but as i've seen more and more of these robots i can understand how a long-time fan could appreciate that the new versions are more complex and how they don't have the "displacement" issues of the cartoons . personally i don't care if a building sized robot transforms into a handgun . that would be totally acceptable if they had stories and art like the cartoons i've seen *snap*
when i watched the cartoon movie i did kinda tear a bit when Optimus died . i'm sure it would've been worse if i had seen seasons 1 and 2 first . ooooh i love his voice

Yeah there's lots of stuff to watch. And it's highly possible that you've seen some of the bots fromt the other series. Even I've got few of them in my gallery
The plot and acting really are bad in the Baymovies. So bad actually that it was really hard for me to appreciate any aspect of those movies. What it comes to robots in the movies, there are designs I hate with all my heart and designs that I love just as much. For example I think Ravage is really awesome in the movies, but Starscream looks butt ugly(and yet I own both of them as toys. Yeah I really fail
