First off, I would like to say I really like the movement in this drawing, the color contrast between the sky and the land is very well made, and the lighter background colors attract the right attention to the character, as well as the place it is located.
I really enjoy the texture of the brush you drew the background with. Also, the anatomy is interesting and well drawn.
Now, I would like to suggest a few things:
*The fire effect is great, but it is a light source, so not only the ground should be affected by the glow, but the character's body as well, the forearms and chest. I can see you did paint reddish light on it, but a little more would look even better C: maybe you could also add yellow.
*The background is great, but to give the illusion of movement, you could add the motion blur effect, not necessarily by a filter in the program you use, you can make it by hand like in this picture here: sta.sh/0mb6zod0dl3
Notice how the edges of the objects that are close are blurred and the far background stays static and un-blurred e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="
" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title="
(Smile)"/>
* The head has a horn that peeks out behind it? If it is a horn, then I must point out that it is not the same as the horn I can see on the front. What I mean is that it isn't symmetrical to the other, or long enough to peek from behind the head at that angle.
If it isn't a horn, ignore this.
To conclude, I'd like to say your art is impressive and gets better each time you submit a new drawing, keep on being an inspiration! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="

Halluu Sorry for the Long time of.
Light looks awesome!!!
'swisssh' Coming though! Β Got to find a meal before the sun sets.
it's a nice touch too keen the scenery light and the colors limited. but also the background indicate a high temperature and that make the rocks blend into the sky.
i love how you kept the details on him and made him the main focus. thank you again for hosting the contestΒ

Wow, that's amazing! The pose and the mouvement look great!
And dat fire!
I was wondering, how do you choose the color for the background? I mean I cans ee brown, red, orange, grey, a little blue. Said like that it feels like it's random but I know it's not and I totally lost the meaning of the sentence. What I meant is that it's great, and I wanted to know your way of doing it!

Thank you, Neb! Actually when it comes to colors, a lot of it is just experimenting. Trust me, the colors were
a lot different at the beginning, and then changed and developed as I worked on the piece.

I guess that makes a lot of sense actually

With every piece you do, you improve so much. Your use of color is always phenomenal and it seems really befitting to insinuate the element into such a setting!Β The detail and scene in general are stunning c: Wonderful work

Soooo, I sent a critique. Ignore the part where I talk about the horn, I just saw it is indeed a tusk and not a horn in the face and it is fine haha.

This is really beautiful! The fire looks so cool! And the colors compliment really well It kind of makes me imagine like the character is running because he is late for something and he's looking back/up at the sun for a time reference lol It's very fun and happy to me

You're a master of capturing movement in your artwork wow. As usual, your shading is amazing and I really like that hazy background. I love how you incorporated that blue from the sky into the foreground of the desert<3

Thank you! ;v;
And yeah, hazy and dusty maybe too! The blues were also pretty fun to sneak into the foreground.

Oh gosh beb this looks AMAZING!
Though I did want to point out that you might have a default color profile on your monitor that is making the colors strange? The one on dA and on weasyl look exactly the same to me. If you want, you can ping me on skype and I can show you how to check if you have a color profile C:

Thank you, Shin! <3
That could be quite possible. I've always noticed the problem more on this comp than the other one.
I'll definitely note you on Skype about it!
