Well what can I say that hasn't already been said? Italian architecture is already an artform. It's so amazing to begin with, but then you have this wonderful sky as well.. and the tone of the picture just brings the whole thing together and makes it perfect.

well, the light was something very "peculiar" that day... november, very cloudy but high temperature, almost summer-like in the afternoon... and the sky beyond those clouds was SO blue. they should invent something to make skies like that one when we need them

i love the depth in this picture, i have actually seen this building while i traveled through italy. i was wondering what you did to it to acheive the tones it has? what stop was this taken at, film speed, shutter speed, darkroom/computer manipulation etc... not that i want to copy your work or anything, just really curious.

No problem. I usually shoot raws with digital SRLs, but in this case I used the Canon G6 in jpeg mode (1/1000 sec, f/4, 50 ISO, 7mm). All the editing was done in Corel PhotoPaint 12.
