Thanks again. Yes... this was the Lensbaby 2.0 I used in Sicily, Amsterdam and Nice last september. I'm now still using it but with a narrower aperture, with the previous " original" version wide open.

indeed... I'm totally crazy about it. it could become my main tool -my actual setup is one cam with the LB at the neck and the other with the 24-105 at the shoulder. tried that in amsterdam and it works great, let's see how I do in france...

they actually make them... add on lenses for wide and tele. they also just made a new model that keeps the focus. [link]

risposta in ritardo per... viaggi
ho preso il LB direttamente dal produttore, sul sito -spediscono con fedex e ti ritrovi il pacco a casa dopo tre giorni anche se viene da Portland, Oregon. ho preso anche una serie di diaframmi di riserva (hai visto mai)... in queste tre settimane ho solo usato l'f stop installato di default (f4) ma in futuro vorrei provare anche gli altri piu' aperti -a differenza del LB originale la versione 2.0 (che ha un vetro di qualita') mantiene la diffusione bassa del punto a fuoco anche a diaframma molto aperto. fra l'altro ne hanno fatto una nuova versione con la possibilita' di blocco del fuoco...
sento che questa cosa sta cambiando totalmente il mio approccio alle cose in una maniera che davvero mi piace e che sento mia.

attento perche' con la 30D la focale 50 mm diventa circa 80... non so dirti l'effetto. puo' darsi comunque che la prospettiva 'tele corto' evidenzi ancora di piu' il dettaglio a fuoco... val la pena di sperimentare
il LB 2.0 preso dal produttore costa 150 $... a cui pero' vanno aggiunti 70 $ per la spedizione rapida via fedex. quindi se lo prendi in germania, con una spedizione tramite corriere che puo' costare circa 20-30 euro, dovresti farci piu' o meno pari...

comunque non dovresti avere problemi... con le canon funziona benissimo con la priorita' dei diaframmi perche', pur essendo privo di contatti elettrici, l'esposimetro legge la luce e calcola il tempo giusto e puoi settare il modo di misurazione come un obiettivo normale. stessa cosa in manuale.

anche io. ma con il LB ho iniziato a usare il manuale perche' ho scoperto (veramente solo nell'ultima 'sessione', quella di Nizza) che il LB ha una incredibile capacita' di catturare la luce artificiale con la 5D a 800 asa. per cui per qualche sera (notte) sono andato in giro solo con 5D+LB e dopo vari tentativi ho cominciato a usare il manuale... in modo sperimentale, devo ancora vedere di preciso che cosa ho combinato. ho usato il manuale anche per sovraesporre o sottoesporre in modo evidente durante scatti diurni -presto vedrai i risultati
