Hey Barsook! I used plain sketch paper, but the trick was to shade it before scanning it into photoshop. From there I added the textured background and painted a bit onto it digitally to help it blend a bit more. Does that make sense? If not let me know and maybe I can tos a tut together or something. :3

Thanks! I sketched it out on plain paper, then in photoshop added the texture and accentuated the shadows and highlights to make it come a bit more to life. :3
