Name: Gise

His mother, Gise. The Jenny that was with him through it all – or at least tolerated him when times got tough. But as soon as he asked a question about his father, she shut Fel out of her life. He is unsure why this happened but maybe, he could find out why. And maybe, he can find out if his mother still likes him.

Name: Irusu

Description: His mentor, Irusu is definitely a woman with a good, visionary head on her shoulders and a fire in her heart. He looks up to her, since her role is what he wants to become. All he wants to do is impress his mentor, even if she's the good type of crazy.

Positive:

Discreet | Contemplative | Assiduous | Submissive | Studious

Neutral:

Effeminate | Enigmatic | Iconoclastic | Reserved | soft

Negative:

 Clumsy | Difficult | Forgetful | Tentative | Irascible |Pedantic

    ·       Discreet || “Stay quiet, don’t let them catch us!” -  If there is one thing that Fel likes about keeping to himself is being discreet. For him, it’s currently easy keeping the attention of the public eye off him. He’s more than happy to be lead the public, but being discreet about it would be his creed.

    ·       Contemplative || “Out of everything we thought of... Is this really the best idea we came up with?” – If there is one thing that Fel does well is that he contemplates everything and everything. Usually, at the worst times. There are moments where the simplest of chores that could take a few minutes, quite possibly might take a few hours.

    ·       Assiduous || “If you want something done right, you have to have a methodical mind; like mine.” – Taking careful procedures to make sure you get the right outcome is what Fel has mastered over the years; learning how his world works. He may come across as a smart ass when speaking about “Having patience” or “being careful” but to him, he’s usually right.

    ·       Submissive || “I-I… about- about that...” heavy blushes ensue – He may be the target of being led by someone who has a dominant mentality, but Fel’s submissive persona is what carries him from day to day. He may come across as a strong, masculine stallion at first, but it’s a show he puts on. To be ‘one of the guys’ so to speak.

    ·       Studious || “I’m sure I could help since my books have given me all the knowledge. Knowledge is smarts.” – If there is one thing Fel loves to do is read, then apply his knowledge onto others. Even if he isn’t a teacher to young Uncuts, he still loves providing any knowledge that he knows (even if said character already knows the information Fel is providing).

    ·       Enigmatic || “To stay allured to someone, it’s better if somethings are left hidden – don’t you agree?” - If there is one thing that this mule loves, Fel loves being everyone’s puzzle. He loves the puzzled expressions, the questions and just the amount of time that someone spends to just figure him out. Fel loves being the challenge and in return, loves the challenge of a fellow stranger.

    ·       Iconoclastic || “I’m going to keep my beard long, thank-you very much!” - If Fel wasn’t so pedantic about the world around him, he’d change the legal system and the way his peoples are being treated. Being raised with medical issues, he'd focus on giving the citizens of the Kawaru more medical assistance - for those who can't afford it.

    ·       Reserved || “I’m not callous, I just don’t talk often.” - Maybe it’s the lack of friends he has, or just not being overly social but Fel Is reasonably reserved about most things, even his opinions on his word around him. He believes his open is only needed to be given at a certain time, the right time. But there are times when he does crack a smile.

    ·       Soft || “Aren’t you a sweet little thing?”-  Being soft is natural as the sun rising in the sky for Fel, since that’s what he firmly believes that every equine should be; kind to one another. Fel allows himself to come across as a trustworthy and agreeable stallion, especially to strangers.

    ·       Clumsy || distant crashing sounds  “Uh-.. Totally didn’t just drop a sculpture of Ignacio!”- From the day of his birth under the Sirith moon, Fel has always had the problem of being rather clumsy or just not watching his surroundings. He’s always had to be careful and especially recently with his newest pair of glasses (the fifth pair in this one year alone). Whether it be running into people on accident or even, accidentally stepping on a familiar’s foot or tail, he’s always been clumsy.

    ·       Difficult || “I’m not being difficult, you are.”- Always being in constant denial, Fel can be rather difficult to handle in certain situations. Whether it be his headstrong attitude or just wanting to be right (for once), he’s set in his ways unless convinced.

    ·       Forgetful || “Now, where was the last time I had my glasses…?” - If this poor mule could have any title, it would be “Fel the forgetful mule”. Well— he isn’t that bad in forgetting people’s names or titles, mainly his equipment and his glasses. Fel truly tries his hardest and will apologise greatly if he messes something up due to his forgetfulness.

    ·       Tentative || “…I don’t think... I can- this was a mistake!” If being forced by peer pressure or even if his own thoughts flood his mind, he will have a temporary lapse of unsureness, insecurity. For a moment, he’ll double back on what he originally thought of or planned if the scale to him is 10:1.

    ·       Irascible || “Watch your mouth with me- I’m trying to help you and you are treating me like some criminal.” – Fel is known to be reserved and mysterious, but if you try to badmouth him, he’ll retort back. It’s not like the littlest of things irritate him but at the same time, if a hoof is out of place or a simple phrase has a certain tone he doesn’t like, he’ll make sure you know how he feels.

    ·       Pedantic || “Well, from what I know about the stars is that they are hundreds of thousands of years old and the reason we see them is because they’re exploding." –  If there is one thing that Fel does best is not giving a straightforward answer. He has smarts but he’s not so smart in giving a simple answer. But of course, he loves to go into little detail and if he could, he would talk all day about one singular topic. If there’s one thing he needs to learn is when to shut up.

Sub personalities:

*I personally think he’s a bit of a smug ass and flirt when reading through these?

But I mean, more personality the better am I right?

P r e - g a m e  &  A r r i v a l:

[[ What is unknown to Felizio, he was born in the allied zone of Talori - from a secret love affair between a Cleric and a Guardian. The cleric was a beautiful hippocampus, with scales that shone in Alya's light each time the sun rose. She had eyes that were like the sea, and that was what the Guardian was so allured by. The guardian was a stunning unicorn, with might and heavy hooves. He was proud of his role as a guardian, but nothing could've prepared him for this secret love affair. This guardian felt like his own marriage fading into the distance, over a humble cleric that had caught his eye. And the same could be said for the Cleric. As much as they believed their love was true, it wasn't. They both knew this love affair was an insult to Cascade. The Cleric and Guardian knew that and truely felt guilty for what they had done. For the Guardian, he was worried his own wife would find out about this and disowned the mare due to the fact he didn't want to be found out. Even if, the unicorn truely loved her.  The unicorn believed he would be safe, that his rank and his life wouldn't be in shambles. But in the year of 1674, on a rainy morning, a small mule foal was born to the secret mare. This small colt had gotten most of his mother lean features, but his colouring and eyes represented the father more. Even if this stung the mare on how similar the foal looked, it was known that this mare loved her child. Whispering softly to the foal, she whispered softly.

"Your name is Feala..."

Whispers throughout Inaria spoke of a mule foal being born, and it soon reached the wife of the guardian, another hippocampus. Finding out about the mule was deemed 'okay', but when the mentioning that the foal looked extremely similar to her husband, the hippocampus mare was adamant she needed to see this foal. Even when her husband tried to persuade her to not see the day old foal, the mare just insulted him. When given the chance on the first day, both the Guardian and his wife went to go visit the newborn foal. Soon, they were face to face with the foal that was the result of a secret and insulting love affair. This drove the Guardian's wife crazy; this foal looked almost dead on like the sire, with the dam's lean and tiny body. The hippocampus wanted revenge on this little plot, even if the foal did nothing wrong. The foal, was the result of this.

She needed to get rid of it.

A few years later, the wife of the Guardian decided to get foal out of Talori - moving them away from this herd. After all, the Guardian's wife had connections and knew that this revenge plot would work. After all, her blessing was quite useful in this situation. During the night, she had snuck into the Cleric's home and channeled her blessing to revert her look to look like the dam. If the foal believed that his other hippocampus was their mother, it would be smooth sailing. With a gentle nudge, the strawberry eyes soon peered innocently at the other mare. It was almost sickening for the mare, she disliked this foal and everything it stood for. Slowly, her words spoke to them in a hushed whisper. "Come on, let's go." before walking in the other direction, towards the door. The foal was slowly following her, questioning why their mother was up so late but continued to stumble after the mare who the foal believed was their mother.

Meeting up with her connection, the hippocampus paid a particular rouge good money to dispose of the child - whether it be delivering it to Aodh as a slave or in the wilds of Onea. She didn't care where the foal went, it needed to be gone from Talori. Of course, the foal was too young to understand what was happening to them but was soon pulled away from the mare they believed was their mother. It was a messy exit, but the world of Talori would soon be erased from his mind. ]]

A n   E r r o n e o u s   B e g i n n i n g

Y o u t h:

From what Fel believed, he was born quietly in Breim. His mother, Gise was born of a heritage of cooks that were largely located within Breim, while some strands of the family were located outside of Breim. Meanwhile, Fel's father wasn't in the picture but his young, feeble mind was unable grasp the concept that not having a father in his life was indeed, strange. Many equines would cast side glances towards Gise and Fel, but Felizio never really took any notice. From his little white cloven hooves to the tiny formation of a lump on his forehead, he was a pure unicorn. His eyes were almost as big as opals, the redness glinting in the artificial light within Gises' home. But it was evident something wasn't right with the foal, as their breathing seemed heavy. Nonetheless, Fel was welcomed into the society of the Kawaru.

From a young age, Fel was creative; extremely innovative. From creating small drawings of inventions only a young mind could dream of to using toys to his imagination; to create images that came to mind. Although, that was one of the only things he could prominently remember. Days and Nights would become a connecting haze; the foal unsure of what day, month or year it were somedays. But what made some days easier was visiting the 'Temple of the Gods'. Thus, Fel was introduced to the statues of the gods. When being introduced, he couldn't help but grin at how powerful they all looked. He wanted to be like that. PowerfulInfluentialUnstoppable
At that moment, he didn't expect that meeting the gods was a blessing, especially with the life he was about to be damned with.

Fel would remember the days where his breathing would become difficult and was on constant watch. Days that he struggled to stand and walk on his own. They weren't often in the beginning, but now they were becoming more common with each and every passing day. He was starting to not see the world like he usually could, as the world around him was cloudy. Almost deeming itself lifeless. As the foal grew restless,  Fel's small whines would sound as he'd try to rub his eyes.

"Momma, the clouds aren't going awayyy~.."

All he'd feel and hear was his mother, each time it got worse for the foal.

"I know my little one, I know.." as Fel would feel his mother's muzzle press up on his cheek, offering any sort of comfort.

His family was not wealthy, Fel knew that. They did not have status to afford the medical assistance the young foal desperately needed. The wealthy of the Kawaru had all the medical assistance it needed, for expensive solutions. Meanwhile, citizens such as Felizio had to struggle with constant pain with little pain relief. Unfortunately, It had been confirmed from one of Gise's healer friends that the colt was suffering from early stages of Bone Fragility syndrome. Whether it had been the colt exploring the caverns, or getting too close to some Crystals or inherited the sickness through some other means, Felizio was sick. Very, very sick. The young mule mix could tell by the look on his mother's face; he'd never seen her so devastated. And to add to that, he was going blind in both eyes,

Felizio decided in that moment of illness, he'd work his ass off to become a driven; to earn himself some coin to save himself from his illness.

T e e n - L a t e  T e e n:

From the age of twelve, the young Fel had decided thoroughly that he'd refer to himself as a 'he', for simplicity reasons. Gise seemed fine with the decision, as she was proud of her innovative son. If he was going to try hard for the both of them, to be apprenticed under a Driven to hopefully become one later on in life; it made her happy. The glasses he had adopted hesitantly on his face seemed to obscure the beauty that seemed to bestow upon him at birth but nonetheless, he worked hard. He considered to do odd jobs for his neighbours, but was quickly reminded that he needed to keep his illness to himself - his mother made sure they kept it quiet. Fel rarely his home anymore, since he deemed himself as 'too unwell', even if doing odd jobs in the cover of his own home. The only time he left was to keep his eye open for apprentice openings. Each time he'd venture out into Sterling without at least a little coverage, whispers would fill the air. Stares would often float his way, making him increasingly uncomfortable in his own right.

At home, he'd always find time to research magic, technologies and work on his own experimentation as he'd wait for an opening to a driven. Fel spent most of his days researching all three topics, since he wanted to know everything there was to know; even if he specialised himself in magic and technologies. The days of heavy breathing and extreme exhaustion were still bothersome but Fel would continue his work. By right, he could've spent the countless days he was feeling ill by praying to the gods, each and every one of them. If he couldn't get the role he wanted, he needed to think of another solution. He believed that maybe, if the gods heard his cries, they'd fix him up. They had that power... right? Getting sick now while working was an obstacle, causing the teen at the time to lose his temper. It would send him into a coughing and wheezing fit every time, exerting energy he desperately needed. "Nothing could get worse than this", he believed humbly to himself, but he was incredibly wrong.

One day, while Gise was out on an exploration towards Vasall, Fel was home alone. When he was coming to collect something from the front of the home, the colt slipped and fell to the ground causing him to black out for a few moment. It was an accident; nothing was to become of it. A simple ‘Dust-yourself-off’ situation. But when he awoken, a nightmare much worse than any that he had previously experienced had cursed him. His beautiful horn that he grew from a very young age, had been broken. The one thing that defined his heritage, his species, himself was now shards. Slowly, liquid was oozing out from the base of the horn and down into his eyes. As the colt sobbed, he doubted it would grow back the way it was. Thus, having little confidence in his image, Fel decided to shave it down to nothing but a stump his head. It still worked to some degree, but it would never be the same. As a result of this loss, it wasn't long before the colt sprouted a small beard to grow content with who he was.

With the loss of his horn, it didn't stop him from working himself to greatness. Felizio was trying to be proactive with little he had, and eventually finding an opening under the driven Irusu, who started to teach him the ways of the Driven. He was determined to become something great, especially to impress his mentor. With the amount of research he backed himself on, he believed this would be a difficult but fulfilling task.

Y o u n g  A d u l t:

During his adult life, that's when things started to take a turn; like the gods were guiding him down a path he didn't know existed. Recalling his Birthhood was a struggle, which had deemed itself rather odd to Felizio. When taking walks around Sterling, there was something about how this place didn't feel natural. It felt like something was being suppressed within him, like some parts of him were hidden away from the world. He didn't know who to ask about it. Maybe his mother would know of this weird feeling he had.

On his 23rd birthday, Fel decided it would be time to ask her the dreaded question that he'd been holding back for a while now. For some reason, he couldn't help but be nervous. But he knew his mother wouldn't lie to him, as she stood for honesty. She'd more than be happy to answer him, as she always did. Standing within the home with his dam, enjoying a quiet night with her, he spoke up to her.

"These last few months, I feel something isn't right. You've not told me much about my birth and each time I try to remember, it's not coming to head." Fel asked, as he heard something clammer to the floor. It was like his mother had dropped something on the ground, but he continued."Do you mind telling me about it?" Silence. Breathing was all that was heard from them both. Slowly, the jenny turned to Fel and looked at him deeply in the eye. There was no love, no emotion in them. That was before she turned towards him and spoke two words.

“I think you should leave.”

“I don’t... I don’t understand- “ The young stallion spoke rather worriedly. What was she doing? What was she hiding from him? Gise was his dam, surely, she would tell him what was wrong. Right?

“Get out!!” The Jenny yelled, pawing the floor below her. Backing out, Fel left his home, where he had grown up for so long. He was being pushed out into a world he knew somewhat of without his mother. He whinnied for her, but the door was slammed in his face. Fel was in total shock, his cloak draping over his body like goo. Before he could try at the door again, the door opened widely and a few of his bag flew out before the door shut again in a brief manner. Picking up his things, he looked sadly at his home. He didn’t understand why this happened. Why did his mother shut him out?

All he knew was he needed to find answers. And he'd get those answers, even if he had to go to extremes to get his information.

  • Wishes to have kids and a good, fulfilling life before his sickness takes him
  • Fel told himself that the loss of the horn was because of his lack of attention and praise to the gods, believing they were mad at him for not being constant with his amount of faith to them.
  • Fel feels really bad for forgetting people's names and occupations, as he expresses that thoroughly when meeting them.
  • It gets to the point where Fel will have to carry a journal to write down and draw things to help him jog his memory.
  • When Fel reads or sees something that seems very deja vu, he will flip through his notes to see if he wrote something down about the item, location, equine or weapon.
  • Fel takes notes, all the time
