Description
Just playing around more with feathers and water.
The title has some meaning in my life, as to what I was feeling and thinking while executing the photos in this set. The dark nature of the photo, from its simplistic elements was no accident.

It reminds me of an old Cocteau Twins album cover. And that for me conjures strong deep feelings. Very cool, and worthy of a DD if y'ask me.

These are pheasant feathers drenched in water and taken up close.

Everyone sees something different. I assure you this image does not portray nor bring about any "emotions" in myself. I'm not saying it isn't a nice phottie like, as I certainly couldn't achieve such an effect. Just saying that I thought "strong deep feelings" was a malapropos appellation.

yes, it can be a different or no interpretation for different individuals. we must respect each others views. its just not for art, its for just any medium. movies, music, food etc. we all see something different, and I did feel strong about it, hence i wrote it exactly on my description. maybe i dont see what you dont, and you dont see what i do, but thats how life is

Seconded lol; I was just about to ask that myself. WTF is this picture? It looks like some fluff that was left outside, got rained on, then got a close up. DD worthty? Have I missed something?

does the wet fluff lay down conditions on its DD feature? I dont think so. Thats what Im saying, thats what the artist is trying to portray. Ive seen much more technically modified shots from many other photographers. its about the eye. the wet fluff doesnt indicate anything about the quality

Considering appreciation of art is a personal thing, I doubt anyone can make you see something you cannot already see yourself.
And I promise you, it has more meaning to me as the artist than "wet fluff". Sometimes the whole image is more than a sum of its parts.
