Daddy Longs legs are the coolest arachnids. And this photo is wicked. Reminds me so much of the boss from Pikmin, Beady long Legs. The colour of this little fella is just astounding, and since you see him from behind its hard to tell if he has a face at all. Like a giant alien watcher stalking the jungle...epic.

i like how close you got and the detail especially the water drops but i'm really curious which camera and lens did you use for this

I know this is going to sound insane but I used a little HP 4.1 MP camera. It was a point and shoot so it just had the little lens that was barely half an inch in diameter that it came with..
It's a HPR607 and I got it on sale for $80 when I first bought it.
I have a better camera now, but hehe... I'm still proud of my little palm sized powerhouse.

yea i went through some of your other photos and looked at the exif and figured you used that same camera for this photo but i wanted to make sure it looks quite good better than the photos i would take with my sony dsc-t1
